It refers to the abnormal odor produced by the chiller through physical and chemical changes under the influence of external factors. There are generally several reasons for the odor generated by the chiller, which you can refer to: 1. Poor ventilation of the chiller, high temperature and humidity, causing a large number of mold to multiply and produce a moldy odor;
2. Failure to replace the circulating cooling water in the water tank of the chiller in a timely manner, resulting in microbial fermentation;
We have understood the reasons for the odor generated by the chiller, so how should we solve it? Firstly, the chiller needs to be placed in a ventilated location, and attention should be paid to its maintenance. In addition to ensuring the purity of the water quality (using distilled or purified water), installing a chiller filter can also reduce the odor.
Treatment method for odor generated by chiller:
(1) Food that has been refrigerated by the chiller must undergo inspection and can only be stored if it has not deteriorated.
(2) Normally, it is necessary to strengthen the maintenance of refrigeration equipment and strictly prohibit stacking and unloading to prevent pipeline damage and refrigerant leakage.
(3) The chiller warehouse must not have any odor before purchase. If there is any odor, technical treatment must be carried out to eliminate the odor before use.
(4) Food contaminated with each other should not be mixed and stored inside the Centrifugal Chillers. (5) During the cold processing of food, it is necessary to maintain a certain temperature in the chiller warehouse, and frozen food must not be transferred or stored. If the temperature in the Refrigeration Unit storage room cannot drop, the cause should be investigated and food processing should be carried out after troubleshooting
